    My parents and I are going for a New Year’s Day swim this year. It’s quite cold in the water but starting the year in that way is so much fun. Many people meet on Brighton beach for this first swim of the year. I hope it doesn’t snow. I don’t want to join the party on New Year’s Eve because I don’t like the noise! I often prefer to spend a quiet evening watching the celebrations on TV with my family.
    My resolutions
    I want to do some voluntary work in my neighbourhood and improve my guitar playing. Maybe be nicer to my brother!
